I just wanted to give everyone a little tip on dealing with constipation. I had to do physical therapy to basically learn how to poop again (sorry TMI) a few years ago after my intestinal tract was paralyzed for 2 months & my Physical Therapist taught me a little trick. Put your feet on a stool when you're trying to go #2. If you don't have a little stool handy, anything between 6-12 inches will do. You're putting your body into the squat position which is basically letting gravity do its job. It's not going to make you poop immediately every time, but you won't have to strain... meaning you're less likely to get hernias or hemorrhoids. If your belly gets in the way, try actually squatting for about 30 seconds. I promise, it works!
Squatty potties for the win!!!
