So last night I got the mail, to which I get a letter stating my husband and I's federal tax return has been taken to pay a debt that I had no clue he had to pay. I was counting on that money to move, get a second vehicle, and buy the stuff my kids desperately need, and to pay doctor bills no I have no clue what we are going to do. Also we got an eviction notice yesterday stating when we have to be in court for our hearing on when to be our of our current place. I feel so bad, haven't slept much tonight due to it. Hubby will be home soon and he will be pissed that I didn't fix it, how am I suppose to fix it if I don't know about it.

thank you @mamabee just don't know what to do. all I've done is cry all night. my poor babies have seen me and heard me. hope to get sleep soon.

Also how are you supposed to fix it if it was a debt that HE had to pay. It's not your fault Hun. Hoping and praying for better days to come

thank you according to the company that is forcing payment since we filed jointly they can take it all, plus they said I should have known before we married. it's student loans, but I honestly thought that he got it fixed since we have little to no income. I'm suppose to be on top of everything and fix it if it arises since I'm a stay at home mom and wife. I'm almost 22 wks with our third child and still doing mostly everything by myself including taking out heavy bags of trash. I'm constantly tired, and when I say it he tells me he is to because he works nights, like I work 24/7. On top of that I'm babysitting for my sister 4-5 days a week. Sorry it's so long @xoamac just feeling really alone, I don't go anywhere or seen anyone except 4 kids all under 3.

appeal it. you can take it to court for tampering with your taxes. idk what we will do if they do that to us.

the lady I talked to said we can appeal it but it takes 60 days and it's not a guarantee we will get it back. I have until March 2 to be out, or to pay up rent. Hubby barely makes enough for us to survive right now. Hopefully the appeal doesn't take long.

I didn't have a choice, I didn't have any income this year so I was considered his dependent.

@levismommy2014, sorry but it really sounds like his problem. It's his taxes his student loans. Don't stress about things that are out of your control. Try researching a job you can do from home to make extra cash. Babysitting, house sitting, house cleaning, sell crafts, yard work. Pray about it and have faith God will provide. 😘

Hubby got some stuff fixed, and he didn't go off. Currently babysit for my sister's two girls. can't take on much more o have Dr Appt twice a week plus four kids Dr Appts. hate being high risk.
