So, I went in thinking I lost my mucus plug. They checked my cervix and said that it was still closed... but his head was down and he is definitely in position. They sent me home and now I'm having very strong contractions in my stomach. It's so painful, that I am having to breathe through them. Should I call or wait?

take a warm bath and if that doesn't help then go in. That's what my dr has said.

If they do not go away within an hr I would go in just to be on the safe side

It could just be from them checking your cervix. Try to lay down relax and drink a bunch of water. If they get worse and are timeable I would definitely call/go back in.

It's because they stick their fingers up there and touched your cervix. They will just end up sending you home if they are not 3-4 mins apart
