its so much better if he does because im pretty much going in and not having any idea if my body is ready or getting ready for labor and if you dont dilate then you will have to get c section and im real scared of my body not dilating and being ready

if you want to be checked you need to stand up ! im going into induction without him checking for dilation

yeah they swab to check for like infections and stuff but not for dilation.

the lasst time i went to the doctrors he had done like some swabing but thats about it.

mine didn't check til 40 weeks. some doctors don't check because the more they check you the more you're at risk to get an infection. if you haven't had contractions they don't check, well some.

My ob asks if it is ok for her to check before she does. I would just ask him to check.
