Circumcision not covered by insurance
Anyone heard of this? Is it true?
I had twin boys in 2009 and it was covered by my insurance.
That's been a fact for awhile. I had my son back in 2003 and had to pay. And he was born in Florida. But it really is based off your insurance carrier. Nothing else, they decide what they will or won't cover. For example did you know untied healthcare pays for abortions. Yep! Me either until I started working for them.
I had my son in 2013, had him circumcised and never got a bill for it... Maybe medicaid is different?
Yea it's not covered by insurance here in mn either. I think it's dumb as hell!
my boyfriend will not I mean not go without this. I'm not fighting it. but if we have 2 boys he's paying that $400
Its not because it is not medical at all. Purely cosmetic. There is no reason to do it. It doesn't actually keep you clean/free of disease. I am not doing it cuz no ones messing with my babies dong! 😜
I never got a bill for my son's we live in Tennessee
Ours is covered, even though it's considered cosmetic now. That's why most won't cover but I think it just depends who you have for insurance.
I was informed if I had a boy and wanted it I would have to pay a couple hundred. I wasn't going to do it anyone then found out I was having a girl.
it depends on state. in fl when i had my son it wasnt. but when i moved to ohio his medicaid there did so he got it done then.
@taraduffy79, Yes ma'am it true. Here it costs $200 out of pocket.
It's because it's a cosmetic surgery. If you really want to know the truth behind circumcision watch this quick video (nothing graphic, I promise) ссылка Still have more questions? Visit the Whole Network on Facebook.
