I'm 26+3 weeks pregnant and I failed my one hour glucose test. I ate breakfast at 6 a.m. in the morning with some orange juice and didn't have anything to eat after that. My doctors appointment was at 3:40 p.m. (I was starving, but filled up on water throughout the day). Since I failed I need to go back for the dreaded 3 hour test. Any advice on what I can do to try and pass! I'm worried about my health and our baby's health! TIA!

No food after midnight. I had that to and I passed it. Just drink normal water
Weird! When I seen my doctor I told her how hungry I was and that I had ate breakfast early in the morning; she asked why I didn't eat a small lunch, but no sugar.. I'm confused!

no food after midnight?! Even if my appt. is later in the day?! Baby won't like that, plus, I'm a server around food all day.. I'd be so teased!
Ahh, so sorry! My doctors office hasn't called me to make another appointment yet. But, before I got my results she made me schedule another appointment for the middle of this month (said I should be seen every 2 weeks or so from here on out). I wonder if she'll do my next test at my 3 hr appt. but, I need to know so I don't eat lol! On the bright side, a friend of mine, and my mom failed their first ones, but passed their 3 hr tests. Let's just pray!!!
its better to just do what you normally do. don't try to pass because it could be dangerous if you go out of your way to pass when you do have it...

same happened to me :( I'm so nervous I have to go back on Wednesday...
