I'm going to be a new mommy in June. I want to breastfeed, I'm always hearing horror stories but I'm up for the challenge. My question is there any mommies that have piercings and when they took them out? I still have mine input I figured I still have time......

I had to take mine out for my c section and they closed up in that short time and I'm really upset about it! As long as you take them out while you're nursing you should be able to keep them as long as you want!
@trosmith39, okay cool I was planning on taking them out. I have this horror of have like 3 holes in my boobs and the baby getting too much milk but I guess the hole closes and everything should be normal again
well for me 1 fell out around 2 months and I just left it out, at 6 months I took the other one out and I haven't had any problems with breast feeding.
Yeah I'm going to watch them because they don't hurt or even feel tender but I do remember when when I was about 8weeks they where super tender and if they feel anything like that, bye bye Lolz
i dont have piercings but i kind of cringe thinking how uncomfortable that would be having them in. i would def take them out. for me nipple tenderness was not happy times. i would think this would only add to the discomfort. you will probably see changes to your breasts over the next several weeks. may be uncomfortable by then anyways.
