So since I didn't deliver on my due date I have to go and take a non-stress test...my question is has anyone done one before and if so how long did it take and what does it determine?

I have one with my first kid and that's when I found out that my water had broke and I did not know it so they admitted me to the hospital that Friday I had him that Saturday morning... He was so dry and wrinkled because he was 6 days past due date
I don't remember how long but you just sit hooked up to the tummy straps and listen to the heartbeat and kicks to make sure the heart rate ant movement is still ok
