Mamas! Don't forget to take care of your teeth during and after pregnancy! I found out the hard way! I had a cleaning when I was about 12 weeks pregnant and everything was perfect and I just went, my little guy is three months old now, and I have three cavities! A change in hormones mixed with rushed brushing and late-night snacking during feedings all contributed and I haven't had a single cavity in years! My dentist said that dental problems following pregnancy are very common.

@to salinasmami, I hear ya.. My cleaning is free but each cavity is $250.. I don't have almost $850 to pay for them to get fixed because I'm not working.. Such a rip off

I was shocked. I know my flossing really suffered after I had my baby because who has time lol but I brushed. Good luck! @mommyjazz

I'm nervous I have an appointment on the 25th of February. I haven't gone to one in 2 1/2 years and I've had 2 kids since the last time I've gone. I'm afraid I'm going to be chop full of cavities. I brush and floss but like you said hormones and late night snacking probably haven't done my teeth justice
