I can't eat , I can't drink , can anyone tell me how to make it go away???!!
Or food that help a little?? Please and thank you ladies:)
what has helped me I've come to realize (after a long 18 weeks of suffering) is not to let myself get hungry and once i do start feeling a little bit hungry eat. so basicly eating small amounts frequently has saved me from having to take phenegan which was makes me very happy, hopefully you find relief as well! good luck!
@salirass, yeah my mentor told me it coats the lining of the stomach and settles it enough so you can eat. I found this out after I ended my morning sickness so I never got to try it
No prob- I know how miserable it is. Just make sure you eat something and keep hydrated. That's the main thing. Dehydration leads to cramping, contractions, and possible miscarriage and it you're getting sick you'll get there quick so take small sips and bites if needed and talk to the doc If it doesn't get better. They can write a prescription for diclegis or one of the other nausea meds that are safe for the baby.
Glad to help! At 17 weeks I still have it but have learned to manage it better and you will too. :-) If you get super desperate look into sea-bands and Preggie drops (little candies)- both are available near the pharmacy at Target.
Eat small frequent meals... Even if you don't feel well. Some of the nausea comes from food, some comes from needing food and it's hard to tell which is which. Watermelon was a good suggestion- helps you keep hydrated and as a new mommy this is a must. For me sometimes my "small meal" would be a cheese stick or 4 small chunks of watermelon. Doesn't have to be fancy... Just something. Start carrying snacks with you everywhere. Take prenatal a only at night too. It helps.
TRUST Me... Ginger CURES Nausea. You Can research it to get more information. but yes anything ginger works great. if you still are feeling the same way just take it in little by little. I'm all about healthy ways to cure things without meds. and ginger has been the main for tummy sickness. that and peppermint tea. I give that to the baby when her stomach is upset. and eat soup broth or toast even small bites of yogurt to coat you stomach if you've been vomiting
I can't say would could make it go away, but try jello and soft foods like applesauce stuff you can eat super slow and it will come up as daily as it went down. also make sure to keep hydrated I know how easy it would be to get dehydrated with throwing everything up
I lived off cucumber and watermelon my whole pregnancy. They re the only thing I could keep down plus they have a lot of water in them so I wouldn't feel dehydrated.
