so my ob never told me to get blood work done prior to the 15 week blood work for abnormalities. she then yells at me for not gettinh it. uhm, you didn't tell me anything or give me any paperwork about it soooo...I'm pretty annoyed right now.

So you still have time , but from now on she needs to be on top her shit and I would try telling her in the most respectful way but it needs to be said . The fact she try to blame you too lol smh
not everyone gets it done so im suprised she would act like that. I never get any of the test done to check for abnormalities ect. You can always change drs. @pregg0megg0
I'm only 13w3d and I guess I have until 17-20 weeks to get it done so she said I can get it alllllll done at 15wks. my next appointment is at 17wks. so I'm ok but just her approach upset me
how the heck u supposed to know what they need?! that's crazy I'd yell right back and question her why she wasn't doing her job!
the one that calls me back and weighs me and does my BP hands me all my lab work and tells me other info I need to know before my actual visit with the Dr.
Smh even more because it's your first ! It's my first pregnancy as well and my dr let me know because their is a cut off for those certain test . She's ridiculous and I will be pissed off too . Luckily genetic testing is optional since some moms rather not know but you still should have been given the option and info to make your choice .
@sassymama29, my thoughts exactly. comes in and says "I need to yell at you, because you didn't even get your blood work done " I just gave her this confused look, like, uhm what are you talking about. she even tried to pawn it off on her nurse.
Plus it's my first pregnancy and she knows that. I don't know what I'm doing so she needs to make sure I know what checkups and testing I need done. it's her job.
Smh she is supposed to mention it to you that's why she is the "dr" smh . That is not your responsibility.

his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
