I'm high risk also and I've had 5 ultrasounds.. they told me at everyone so far but my dating one and she was measuring huge at 35 weeks (6lbs 12oz.) they usually are wrong with the estimates. And if your baby is big for your due date. (she's measuring over a week ahead) they usually will do one. They might do another at like 36-38 weeks to check position and weight and then tell you

No, I know some doctors don't because they can be off a lot of the time. I like knowing the guesstimate, but I never take it into much consideration, I've seem them be wrong sooooooo many times.

I'm not concerned about it, just be nice to know. lol. I know he is measuring a week ahead. @katzfav3 and I just thought they would do another ultrasound since I'm high risk for going into labor early. cause I had my other son at 25 weeks and they are giving the stariod shots and hormone shots. @babyjunebug

@owen1221, alot of doctors only do like 3 ultrasounds throughout the pregnancy unless you're high risk or tell them something hurts that's abnormal enough for them to decide an ultrasound is best to determine the problem.

I'm 34 weeks tomorrow and haven't been told either. When I went in to have my first they told me she was going to be close to 8lbs and came out at 5lbs12oz. It's really just a guesstimate.

I think that unless there is something to worry about they sometimes forget to tell you the normal details.

My last ultrasound was 21 weeks. That's when I had the last weight notification. I'm not sure how they would estimate the weight. They measure my belly each time, so if I measure within the normal ranges I would assume that baby is within the weight class designated for the week.

I've never been told how much he's weighing. and my last ultrasound was at 18 weeks. but they keep on telling me they won't do another ultrasound.. @katzfav3 @scc2413

I'm the same, the last time I was told was at 25 weeks and I'm 34 now. At your last ultrasound they'll give you an estimate of the birth weight but half the time they're completely wrong.

I'm in the same boat and at 37 weeks.
