how much weight gain is considered healthy in the last 8 weeks? I'm having a really rough time dealing with the number…

@miranda4, 16lbs but today at wic their scale showed that I've gained 4lbs since my Dr visit last Thursday which would make my weight gain 20lbs.

I'm 31w and I've gained 23lbs. Every woman is different. I wouldn't worry too much. I gained 39lbs with my first and I expect the same this time. You gain the fastest toward the end.

@momagainjj82, my dr said she didn't want me to gain more than 11-20 lbs this time. and the sudden 4lb jump was unexpected. I don't eat much more than I did before I got pregnant and no I wasn't a bean pole but I was curvy in a healthy way before and dont want to end up gaining more than necessary

See so maybe it was just poop lol I would wait till you go back to your ob and see what the scale says and why would she not want you to gain normal weight is 25-35 lbs

I'm 5'3 and before I got preg I bounced between 170-180 lbs. wic said yesterday I weigh 204 now :(

So then you gained more then 16 Hun well if you weighed 180 then you gained 24 but don't worry that's a great weight gain you will be back down in no time 😊
