anyone else a FTM and a step parent to a toddler? personally it irritates me. also frustrates me…

my daughter is 2 years old and is already potty trained.. i think he should of already been potty trained by now.

I completely agree. I hate it.

its not my responsibility to do it otherwise he would be trained already.

Not a stepparent to one but we have custody of our 2 year old nephew and he is a mess and adding so much stress to me it's ridiculous! So I understand in the aspect of taking care of someone else's child and it being a struggle. I have a bonus soon he's 13 and we've had struggles throughout the years but things are pretty amazing now. Except not getting to see him as much as we would like.

it's Pretty Much Is Your Responsibility if you are with his father and you love his father you have to love that child like he is yours and don't show no different towards him..Maybe when he comes over or around you should teach him and start him to potty train!! I have a step son myself and I feel like he is mines and I teach him things and give him love because I love his father... I hope you understand what I'm saying @stephk4611

I want to help him but my husband doesn't want me to, otherwise I would. potty training is the only thing I don't do for him.

because he thinks its a daddy and mommy thing not step mom I guess.

I understand what he is saying he's just no trying hard enough and being consistent.

I try not to it just stresses me out that I have a newborn coming too
