Am I wrong for not wanting anyone to upload pictures of my son after he's born? I & my SO should be the first one's to announce his arrival an to upload pictures when we're comfortable to do so. Does anyone else feel the same or am I just being to "controlling" ?!

I wanted to do same thing, for my husband and I to be the first ones to post the announcement BUT after an unexpected C section I couldn't move very much and was really motion sick. So I was glad that my best friend was there and meet my daughter and husband down stair and got several good pictures with her camera. (One I used on the announcement). I was its good to have ground rules but it things change be willing to change with them. I know it's hard, and I am not good at it.
Same @cogsworth84... Everyone was mad at me when I didn't post my baby's gender on Facebook but once I told my family they acted as if they didn't care.. None of them ask how the baby is an that's the reason I'm keeping thing's private until he's born.
me and my husband have a rule that we are to post things first. when we announced, what we are having, and it'll be the same win she's born. our mothers get too excited and want to post things immediately but they've all been really good at respecting our decisions
I told people the same thing I just feel like I'm the one that just went through 9 months of pregnancy and who knows how many hours of labor to have her I should get to be the one that gets to announce my daughters birth and post pictures first
Nope I told my family and friends the same thing.
@maddiesmommy2016, I agree. I just want to post pictures when I'm completely comfortable. Most of my family don't understand that. 😟
I'm the same way. I told my fiance since we will be the only ones in the room while I deliver we are going to announce and post pictures before we bring people in the room that way we are first and I don't have to tell them to not post pictures and stuff. I know everyone is going to be excited and want to show people so I don't want to be rude by telling them no they have to wait.
@misserinc, none of my family have been here for me since I found out I was pregnant... They never ask if I'm okay, need help or how the baby is doing😔 It's really upsetting
I think you should appreciate everyone's excitement, they are just happy to have a grandson/nephew etc. I regret being so controlling with my first, just being a stickler about things just cause.

I am so sick of my husbands family 😒
deleted the picture I took of what my daughter accomplished. which was going on the potty for the first time. appearently I had some complaints about it. so again. I am sorry if it grossed anyone out. I figured since most of us are mommies that seeing a little piece of poop, would be bothersome.
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
