It doesn't last. I promise it gets so much better. Even a few hours later you will be too wrapped up in your baby to think about labor. I'm not going to tell you it doesn't hurt or it you will forget it because you won't(everyone told me that) but your baby will make everything so much better. You'll do great!

dont worry too much about it. it can be rough, but the minute they hand you that baby you are going to forget the pain and every little ounce of pain will be more than worth it. i was induced with my son and was in an off and on labor for almost 60 hours. i dont remember almost any of it other than the amount of time and puking right before having him. lol i can tell you what movie was playing on tv better more than what happened at what point in my labor. lol

I'm due April 10th. first baby and I'm starting to get that same anxiety. :( but apparently women are doing it all over the world every hour of the day. so I try to remind myself of that... that and the fact that there are some amazing aids in the hospital to help a woman through pregnancy if she so chooses to have those. just make sure you're at the hospital in time for the epidural if you decide to go that route. call me a wimp but I'm not trying to prove a thing to anyone. i am not one for pain and I will probably show up a whole day early just to ensure I don't get there to late.
