I've had two C-Sections and the other day I was talking to this new mommy and I asked her if she had a rough labor and she said yes she did and that after a while of pushing the baby came out and that she was thankful that they didn't have to cut her open to get the baby out. Is it bad that when people say stuff that this makes me feel like I'm not a real mom ?

I look it like this u r a mom anyway u have ur child vaginal c- section someone else caring it for i not all woman can have a vaginal birth and that's ok ur as much as a mom as she is

I think she probably just meant that recovery isn't as bad with vaginal birth, but I feel you! I had a vaginal birth but I did get induced and I did get an epidural and my water was broke artificially and I'm constantly judged for all of those things. You are a mom though. You brought amazing lives into this world. Who cares by what procedure! ☺️

I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
