No. Trust me. I've been thru it and it got out of hand once and now I've learned to just keep my distance until they're able to set aside their differences and that's what happened. Now his mother is throwing my baby shower.

That's no good and I'm sorry to hear that but you're not married to your husbands parents and they should be that involved to cause problems. Yes they're going to be in your life for a long time but it's mainly you, your husband and your babies. Until they can respect that I would not have them apart of anything. But that's just me. They need to learn to respect that for their grandchildren at least. They shouldn't want to be a bad examples.

I agree @gracieemarissa unfortunately she's manipulated him and his sister their whole lives it's like they are brainwashed to believe everything she says. Currently her and my father in law are causing some tension in our marriage in the worst way.

My future mil is nosey and it gets on my nerve a little but that's just who she is and she really is a kind hearted loving person so I try not to even let petty stuff get to me because she doesn't do anything evilly u know?

You're other half should step in at that point to have his mother respect the mother of his child. That's what my fiancé did.
