When did you ladies get your first ultra sound? I thought I remembered with my first it was at our confirmation apt. We got to see the yolk sac and a little bean with a beating heart. I was about 8 weeks. I'm suppose to go in on Tuesday for a confirmation apt but they said no ultra sound until the anatomy scan 18-20weeks. That doesn't sound right?

had my first ultrasound,  vaginal at 8 weeks. then every 4 weeks after that

I didn't get my first ultrasound tool 20 weeks 4 days. we'll besides the gender reveal one I paid for at 16 weeks but it's insane to go that long without seeing your baby when everyone else seems to see theirs at 8 weeks or so

18-20 weeks is normal. I would recommend scheduling it for 20 weeks because at 18 they still have a lot of room to move around and you  might not get as good of pictures. If you have to repeat your anatomy scan insurance usually won't pay a dime towards it.

My oldest child I had two. To confirm pregnancy and the mid pregnancy scan. My 2nd,3rd and 4th the doctor only did one in mid pregnancy. With this baby my doctor does two. But here where I live we have this place called birth choice and they basically give free pregnancy test and free ultrasounds. So with my last ones I went there first. My first scan at my doctor is Wednesday but I already had one two weeks ago.

I had an appt and they ran bw and then about a week later at 7 weeks I got my ultrasound and then I got another ultrasound at 18 weeks

i had my first ultra sound at 7 weeks. and i also had a second ultra sound at 10 weeks.  and i did have two more ultra sounds at a 3d/4d ultrasound place only to found out the gender of my baby.
