It's hard enough to take care of a new born when you're so tired and new to everything.

But when you get an episiotomy done and can barely get up its so much worse 😩

I'm in so much pain and my LO hates his crib and only wants to sleep if he's in my arms.

Thank you! I have my mom helping me out. The dad isn't in the picture. But we had to go to Wal-Mart at 6 in the morning because my little one wasn't getting food from me and he was starving. I was going to breastfeed but I don't want my son starving. Plus on top of that he isn't latching. So it's been a rough couple days. But he's sleeping a lot better and seems more comfortable now that he has the formula. Which make me a happy momma @hellosweetie

Aww sweetie I know how hard it is...I had two 2nd degree natural tears after having a very fast med-free birth, and boy did that hurt....I barely could sit, or stand....the only time it felt better was when I would lean back and get pressure off it....and to top it off, I was dealing with the body aches of a very fast labor, and my girl had latching issues for the first month or so and was hurting my nipples SO BAD. It really helps to minimize distractions, I always get pissed when too much is going on while I'm in pain, and also make yourself as comfy as you can with pillows and shit to prop you up...if you were given pain meds to go home with, take them. I only took them a few times because I hate taking meds, and looking back I kinda wish I had taken them more to be more comfortable and more mobile. Grt PLENTY of rest, take a vacay with just you and the baby and your partner if able, and sleep whenever the baby sleeps. The more rest you get, the faster you'll heal! And finally don't be ashamed to ask for help. You need to take it easy or it will continue to swell and hurt worse, and may take longer to heal....ask your man or whoever to help you change diapers so you don't have to get up as much! And ask them to bring you food! You deserve a couple weeks off to let your body heal!!! It will get better, I promise, and before you know it the pain will be a distant memory 😄
