I feel like I'm being torn between my mom and my ex..they both hate each other and I'm not supposed to be talking to him but I am and he's secretly been going to appointments with me but my moms like don't let him see that kid unless he proves to you he's gonna help provide for it..and then she said take him to court if y'all are gonna do visitation... and I've already told him I wouldnt do either he also wants to be at the birth and my moms like not if I'm there..I want him there and her tho...and honestly I don't know what to do anymore😢

honestly u can't let Ur mom tell you what to do and how to do it. I had to learn that. u love them both yes but at the end of the day she's just grandma.....he's the father. if u want him at the birth of y'all child she has no say so in that decision. But do what you think and feel in Ur heart is right

I don't know if your under age or not but either way she can't tell you what to do while your pregnant. if you want him there then he can be there, your mom doesn't have the right to kick him out of the hospital. and most of all, that's your baby, not hers, so you decide who is going to be around the baby and how you want that to happen. I was underage with my first son, and my mom pushed me to put my sons father(now my husband) to be on child support because then the money would go to her, but at the end of the day I didn't because its my kid, and it wasn't necessary

that's his child also, your mom can't run your decision to allow him to coparent let your mom know how you feel, if she can't put her personal feelings to the side that's on her but don't let him miss the birth of his child if he wants to be there you will regret it later

It's your baby. You have every right to include baby daddy in appointments and in the birth. The hospital will respect your wishes when that time comes too.
