I want a boy and I'll be pretty bummed for a little if the doctor says girl but honestly I'll get over it, I'm just excited to bring a baby into this world. It's not bad unless you treat the child's that ended up being the opposite gender you wanted as lesser than your other children, then yeah it's pretty bad.

but trust me how you feel now will change once you have them

don't feel bad both and my boyfriend wanted a girl in the beginning but I just knew I was gonna end up with a boy so I kept saying I want a boy but in all reality I wanted my lil girl. but we ended up have a boy and we were kinda bummed but it's natural don't feel bad

Each pregnancy I wanted a certain gender. I got my first two. This time I wanted another girl but I'm having a bit. Of course I got over it, and I'm super excited and a healthy baby is what I want most!

i wanted a boy, but i got a girl. my dad even hung up on me when he found out it was a girl not a boy. so i understand but being almost 38 weeks in i'm very excited for my baby girl. after buying all the stuff . i realized that shes my child and thats special.

I think it happens to a lot of people, some are just afraid to admit it since it sounds "selfish" or "rude." Which I don't think it's either, I think it's a natural thing. I actually had the opposite effect, I'm having my second girl, and everyone was rooting for boy, so they all seemed kind upset about it, while I was perfectly fine with whatever, but oh well. Everyone is happy as long as baby is healthy who cares at the end of the day.
