Am I being irrational?
This truck has been coming to the house & pulling in the drive way to turn around around 4am every day now. It's got a flashing yellow light on top. I think it just hit/tapped the garage door though while pulling up. This is the thing though, we're on a dirt road that's not busy at all. Plus it's 4 am. & the driveway is about a quarter mile long. The guy could easily just pull into the driveway & back out without worrying about getting hit by another vehicle, & it wouldn't have to drive all the way up to the house.
Am I being hormonal? I know I get pretty crabby/cranky/whatever when I don't feel good.

no that definitely sounds fishy....could be casing the place and trying to make it seem like a normal stop to any passerbyers....I'd flip on a warning light next time or maybe place a call to non emergency at the police dept about a strange vehicle in your driveway and tell them whats been going on.....better safe than sorry

Ummm. If you live that far out, you need to call the cops next time it happens. Try to get the plate number too. I used to live 20 miles from town, my driveway was pretty long, and somebody was doing the same thing. We have guns (I don't know if you do) so one night my daddy and I stayed up and waited for the people. We walked out, shotguns in hand. Never saw em again.

Yeah... We're semi-close to neighbors, we can see their house through the woods but it's still odd. We always leave the light on outside the garage but this time I was in the garage when it happened. My heart started pounding lol.

always trust your instincts...living in the country is great until you can't get help as quickly. I'd say place the call either way just for peace of mind and like @tattedmama said make it known you are there and armed.

@tattedmama, same comment^ but we don't have guns. I'm just wondering why they're doing it & who they are & how worried I should be. I'll get the plates next time if I can.

I mean even a stupid BB gun that looks like a real handgun will scare them away too. They are like 20 bucks at Walmart. Just something to have to ease your mind, you know?

no. I'd be pissed if someone was using my driveway that late at night/early in the morning to turn around. I'd go out there, with my gun, and tell him to find another place to turn around

You're welcome. Even a normal BB gun rifle looks like a 22 rifle from a distance.
