Has any breastfeeding mom's got on the birth control that goes in your arm and lost their milk supply or any side affects that come with getting it.
I have one. I got it at 6 weeks and she's 4 months now. The only side effects I've noticed is that your period is irregular, so I had one right after, but haven't had one since, and part of that is because of breastfeeding (according to my dr) but it hasn't messed with my milk supply at all.
I've had it done my 6 week appointment and she's almost 9 months now with no problems. No period either. But everyone is different.
My sister got hers in and she's perfectly fine no milk loss or side affects.
My son will be a month on the 8th 😊 I had one before it never fell out. It sits on your cervix. It was before I had kids though. So I have no idea now but I'm gonna give it a shot.
@b.corder, I was told not to get that one that it could fall out. my son will be a month on the 7th.
They have the non hormone iud I plan to get that in a few week. I just had my son 3 weeks ago. And I was going through birth control and I like that one the best
I'm not sure I go to the doctor in 2 weeks to plan on getting on birth control. and I wanted to get the one in my arm but I'm scared it will stop by milk supply. but now I am rethinking it
I thought they got recalled? Not positive though. I know when I had it I was bleeding alot and had to put a patch on so it'd stop. I ended up just taking the bar out

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

So back story my SO friends got very offended when he mentioned not believing in god or religion and it got me thinking. Is religion a failing form of goverment cont...
