It's okay I know how you feel. I have maybe three distant family members here and maybe one true friend here so I won't get one either, this is our second child and our first has a lot of medical problems so we don't have any money to do anything either. You could always just go out to dinner with you and your SO so you won't feel bad it could be a small little family thing.

Have a pizza/salad bbyshower and invite ur closest ppl. 5 dollar a box from little ceasers have it be women only thats cheap! At least its something

then you should try a house and like I said finding things at the dollar store works great. my theme is batman, superman and green lantern. but honestly you should have one low budget. the people you are inviting won't care how much u spent on it. it's for you not them anyways

wow really i dont go to church so i dont think they would do it for free :/ and it wouldnt be that many people for me a small amount like 15 @puffball

plenty of ways to throw a cheap baby shower. mine is at a church so the venue is free, most of the decorations are coming from the dollar tree and we are doing nachos so everything can be bought in bulk at costic. will cost about 70$ for us to feed 50 people.
