I'm thinking about using our pack n play as a crib for the first 5 months because we don't have room to set up a nursery and I plan on her sleeping in my room for a while anyways .

that's what we did with our first and plan on doing this time too. our pack and play has a thing where you can raise the bottom so that its like a basinett. it's worked perfect with our first.

there's some pack n plays that have a bassinet attachment for it.
we did the same for my son because my husband deployed after a month he was born so he won't get his own room. till he gets back

a bassinet would be up higher so you wont have to bend down as far to get your baby thats what im going to use
