For birth control, has anyone got the rod inserted in their arm or uterus. If so, any compliants? I have to wait for my period then I can get it. I wanna get all the information I can now so if it's not recommended them I'll switch. Please let me know!

I have the Nexplanon rod in my arm. I had on and off periods, alot of weight gain. Most of the time I cant eat cause im so bloated and I have pregnancy symptoms which scares me alot .Im not pregnant btw but im soon getting mine taken out cause I've had so many problems with it
I have the one inserted in the arm and absolutely hate it weight gain, VERY irregular periods, acne, mood swings I became a Bitch with everyone 😤
I love the IUD (mirena/paraguard ) I put it in 6 weeks after birth and I have no complaints thus far
that's the mirena implant.. but seeing that scared me because although it's a small percent... you still can be that one. her mirena wasn't put in right, and traveled. she had it for 5 years and went to the er bc she was in pain and said she was throwing up and her stomach was hurting...
I was scared to even get it in my uterus but he said it's easier to take out haven't had any problems with it. I think ima do my arm

that woman is gunna have to have a hysterectomy. it's embedded outside her uterus. she's only 28.
That's awesome to hear! If I go through with it I'm gonna get it in my uterus. they said it's easier to take out rather than the arm @xoxoanj
yeah definitely following this! I don't want the shot (weight gain) and I do t want the pill (forgetful) don't want the mirena(can be put in wrong).
I went in to get the IUD and my doc told me she wouldn't put me on it because something was wrong with my ovaries and she didn't think I could have kids. tests later on said there was no way in hell I could ever have a baby of my own. so she said she needed to make sure (more tests). well 3 months later I called to let her know I was expecting and she almost fell out her chair.
Really? My doctor said a lot people said it didn't make them gain weight that'd strange I definitely don't wanna gain anymore weight 😒 @kelseyfox2015
i have merina and I like it. i don't even know its there. every woman in my family had it at one point and nothing bad happened.
