Okay people say if you throwing a party RIGHT , for your one year old and people come without a gift , how would you…

My son's party is tomorrow & I hope everyone brings a gift for him but I won't be mad if some don't because I know some of my guests are financially unable to splurge right now. It wouldn't upset me, I will be happy if everyone shows up to sing happy birthday and be there for my baby.

If it's family that you know can afford a gift but won't buy one because of some beef with you, I'd be pissed. But otherwise all I care about is support. :)

@taytayrose, he turned 1 on the 27th, but I wanted him all to myself for his first birthday so his party is tomorrow :) He picked his own theme, it's charlie brown lol. I have 20-25 people coming.

If you have people who are friends or family who are only coming to eat and gossip then honestly I wouldn't invite them at all. For me it's about my son and him seeing all the people he knows and loves in the crowd singing to him and making him feel super special. I'm not spending alot on food, I'm getting some $5 pizzas from little Ceasars and some 2 liters and chips. My cakes are being made for free by a friend of mine (she went to school for cake making).

Girl I'm actually gonna tone down on cooking cause I don't wanna give these people to much and you never know what is what and who is who ... Until you see whose coming with what @chhaya I'm cooking chicken wings rice and veggies with some mac n cheese my mom say I'm doing to much for grown people
