Getting my taxes done and I can claim my 8 week old baby girl on my returns😊. If babies were born up to Dec 31, 2015, they can be claimed on your tax returns.

I need some help/knowledge on child support and taxes?! Her father pays child support monthly.. My daughter lives with me, I haven't filed my taxes yet. I'm planning on doing it this weekend. My ex just texted me and said - "Hey my dad is doing my taxes for me and he needs ur social security number n your full name, cause I need to claim back some of the taxes from the child support. And he said u can still claim Mia it won't affect it he already asked the tax people. So if u can send it over that be great thanks." However, when I googled it...I found out child support is outside of taxes. I FEEL like he's lying to me to try to get my social so he can claim our daughter. Anyone know?!
Delay with tax returns? My MIL said there is a delay on tax returns for those claiming a dependent or getting the earned income credit. Has anyone heard about this? I didn't see anything on the IRS website.
How the heck do tax returns work? Can me and my boyfriend both claim my daughter? We are not married. We both want to claim her for money benefits. 😣
Question what is a simple tax return for one thing. And for two what if your a stay at home mom for the past 3 years and your man was unable to claim you on his taxes, would this simple tax return be a way around too getting a stimulus check. By god I think I deserve one too but I haven’t filed taxes or gotten any kind of assistance in years. I’m working my ass off at home.

Yea I'm letting my mom/ grandmother carry my son cause I stay will her since I was pregnant and when he was born and she supported me and him so I had to do it like that

My cousin didn't work, but her mom is claiming her kids because they all lived with her the whole year and she supported them @mommyandmccoy_
