my hubby an I have been together 8 years in April. we have a "common law" marriage. and we are finally actually getting married this April! this is my promise ring. my engagement ring and wedding band. ive worn the engagement ring for 4 years and the wedding band for 3 sence we filled our taxes joint.

his wedding band is old and scratched but our rings are very much loved.

my question is do you think we should pic out a New. nicer. matching set as a wedding gift to ourselves? put these in a jewelry box or on a dif finger after our wedding when whe get the new rings? maybe put them up for our children one day?

awww 😍 if you guys do get new rings, bc of how sentimental they are, definitely keep them! you could put them up for your kids to pass down to keep the tradition 😍 that's sooo sweet!

I told them it was in the left hand and the day of the wedding u move it to the right then after the wedding it goes back to the left with the wedding band closest to your heart and your engagement ring at the front of the wedding band and i was told i was wrong that it goes on the right til u get married it goes on the left.....am i wrong im pretty sure im right om this

$750 Class Ring - LOST in 4 months Promise Ring from Highschool - LOST in 7 years Engagement Ring - LOST in 4.5 years Wedding Band - LOST in 3 years 🤭 I am so bad with rings, and this year my husband wants to get me a new wedding set for out 5yr anniversary. I’m thinking about just going with a nice White gold and Cubic Zirconium so I don’t lose another 400+ Ring. Thoughts? (I lose bracelets & necklaces too 😅)
