sooooo jealous!! I had to supplement due to weight drop and I couldn't keep my supply up after 3 months:( hoping I can go much longer with this baby!

@autumnrae, you can do it, mama! Biggest tip I have is feed on demand, for as long as baby wants on one side then offer the other side. Since it's supply on demand, the more baby eats the more you make, and as long as baby is peeing at least 6 times per day and gaining weight, you should be good! Also pumping doesn't always work out for mamas because it doesn't stimulate the breast to produce the same way the baby does, so when it doubt, feed directly on the breast as often as possible 😊 good luck with your newest baby to come, if you need support just hmu I love seeing other mamas succeed in their breastfeeding journeys as well 😄

thanks! my goal was to breastfeed for a year but my daughter dropped weight percentiles drastically so I had to start adding premie formula to her diet and going back to work shortly after that killed my supply:( I was able to use frozen breast milk for a while after but I was so sad to have to stop! we did so well while I was able! thank you again:)

Unfortunately the parental leave in this country is a joke, I'm sorry it didn't work out as long as you'd have liked, it can be really hard when we don't meet our goals!!! Ever drop counts though, even if baby just gets the colostrum in the beginning it really helps and you did so well continuing as long as you could the first time while going back to work! Good job mama 😄
