I'd say you can start perusing consignment type shops around then too so that you know what resources are available if you're into that sort of thing. :-)

I didn't start until after 20 weeks with my daughter. I had a previous second trimester stillbirth. with this one I'm waiting until our doc appointment tomorrow at now 17 weeks.

I stared around 12 weeks with everything but clothes.
