Hey mama's my baby girl had her 6 month check up today, and somehow she lost an ounce since her last check up at 4months!😕 She isn't gaining like she should, which I don't know why because my daughter can drink like 6ozs of breastmilk and 4 ozs of baby food! We even put cereal in her food! She nurses good and I can hear her swallowing. When I pump I can get about 5 oz from both breast. she isn't spitting up much either. She's developing fundamentally perfectly and is hitting her milestones. I think she's just petite, but the doctor is concerned bc she has fallen of the charts. We will be going back in 2 weeks to check her weight again. Has anyone had this issue before? I'm not worried too much, but I also want to make sure she's growing ok!

Same here my son still weights 14ounces at 6 months & they said hes underweight for his age group but he eats everything!! Breastmilk & solids

@mommy2babyg right?! she started solids at 4 months! idk where she's putting her food!

Yesss !! Smh i dont know why they just not gaining the weight but my doc said that he looks like he getting chunky im like yess , what they say you can do to buff her up? @rosalinasmami

pretty much what I'm already doing! maybe I gotta try and feed her more often. 😑 We go back in 2 weeks to follow up @mommy2babyg

My baby is growing slowly. She's growing but she's lagging a little behind in weight gain. Her Dr only said it's a mild concern though

@iqrahp5 I feed her 4-6 times a day. plus she eats solids maybe 1-2xs a day. she's eating every 2-3 hours.

@embersandash aww but as long as she's gaining I'm sure she's fine! I think my daughter is just petite. I really don't want to have to supplement with formula
