BIRTH CONTROL: what are your thoughts on the IUD? I've tried the pill, and I didn't like it. I don't want the implanon, I've heard too many horror stories. And I'm unsure about the shot. I've really been considering the IUD but don't know anyone who has had it or have it.
Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I'm looking for some FEEDBACK on birthcontrol. I just had a baby 3 weeks ago and my midwife suggested the IUD. I've heard mixed reviews. I'm thinking maybe the NuvaRing, IUD, or Implanon. What are you on? Looking for experiences and side effects that you dealt with from B.C.?
So my ob suggested the mirena iud for after I have the baby.. and I don't really no to much about it. Any of you ladies have experience with it ?

I've been so bored since I've been pregnant. I don't have the energy to run around all day with my friends and I can't party so yeah.

I had Mierna twice and loved it. Its plastic, not copper, like other IUDs, and it stops your period for 5 years, which is pretty awesome. Worked well for me.

I had it and hated it, it fell into my cervix and got stuck. I could always feel the strings too and I always bled.

I had the Mirena. I had it for a year before it started to stick to the tissue in my uterus. It gave me Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. 😔

I LOVE IT. I bled very lightly for about 6 weeks after, no periods anymore and very effective (trust me I know lol) I spot every few months but literally just one spot for like one day. It lasts for 5 years too. Mirena!

I got pregnant twice on birth control. so it doesn't work on some ppl.

I became pregnant on the mirena IUD and miscarried the baby at 8 weeks. I had it in 14 months and it was painful. I fell to the floor in the middle of lowes one day because of the pain. I've heard many women have the same pain issue while the mirena is in. My periods were regular with it the whole time So no problem there. But I do not recommend. Many women have become infertile because of issues with it. (I've heard some statistics on it although they may not be too true)

has anyone had the shot that they have?? that's what I was worried about, I've heard good and bad things, and I will go crazy if I have a horrible experience lol thanks so much ladies!!!
