I didnt! my son came exactly on his due date! he would've come 3 days earlier but tye little rug rat decided he was going to push down on my right side and not on the middle to help momma dialate.. lol

I've been pregnant 6 times, I've carried 4 to 3rd trimester. My oldest came at 38w4d on her own, middle 34 weeks, current youngest 38w3d and I'm 30w4d now. Only one i was induced with for medical reasons was my 34wker

due dates are not exact... they are a best guesstimate, FTMs usually do go over because your body has never gone through the process before.

@mamamj, yes I'm aware of that so when did you have your first?

I had first a week before his due date, medically induced. I for sure probably would have gone over as body hadn't even started getting ready.

At a meeting with 2 obgyns last night they said this is not always true for new moms. Babies just come when they want to...

@mrscarterbby, well looks like I'll be going over my due date because I've made no progress at all. Still completely closed and no signs of labor anytime soon. I'll be 38 weeks Tuesday
