For mommys who have been induced, how long was labor for you? I've heard being induced makes it longer 😱

Almost 22 1/2 hours.

I was already 3cm dilated when I was induced and it took me 12 hours until I could push then I pushed for 10 minutes and she was here.

14.5 hours

I was dilated at almost two when I went in and they gave me that "ripening" drug and it started my contractions but then about 4 hours before I gave birth I got the pitocin. I was in labor for 16 hours.. the longest day of my life lbs but the pitocin is really what got everything going.

I wasnt induced, he came natural and my first labor was 3 hours 10 minutes. Ive heard induction makes it longer and 100× more painful. My friend got induced and was in labor for 31 hours, they finally gave her a csection because she wasnt progressing. everyone is different though

I wasn't dilated at all when the induced me and it took 8 hours till baby was born.

The induction process for me lasted 12 hours before labor actually started. Once labor started it was 5 hours and he was here. I didn't have pitocin only a cervical ripener.

It's depends in the situation. sometimes it take a few hours sometimes it takes over 24 hours. over 24 hours for me

28 hrs and 31 hrs! I'm sure not exactly what you wanted to hear- it wasn't bad after I had the epidural though. I got to sleep until it was time to push :) @carlyann00

@carlyann00, I had pitocin and I was already dialated 2cm and baby was low, he came REALLY FAST

I got induced wit all 3 of my kids n they all lasted bout 4-6 hrs!!!

I was in labor for over 42 hours then had to get a csection.

in my 8hrs of being induced nothing really changed an i told them i can't wait 24hrs or more i want her out so because i was yoing an screamed bloody murder when they checked me they said they could do c section

@mrshamilton830, wow that isn't long at all!! They're giving me the "ripening" drug or whatever at 5pm then the next morning they will give me the pitocin, I hope it goes quick...

mines lasted 2 hours i started having complications so i had an emergency c section but my friend was in labor for 18 hours and my other friend was in labor for 27 hours @carlyann00

6 hours from the time they started pitocin, it was great!
