has anybody been sent for growth scans? im 34+3 and been to see my midwife to be told my baby hasnt grown what so ever in two weeks! and i have an emergency growth scan in the morning😢💙

iv got another growth scan on monday i have them every two weeks but i have weekly scans just to see babys ok so as you can guess i have soooo many svan pics i must have abt 14 so far @elouu1993 x

@babyboots, @winterbaby95 ive calmed down now, the midwife was very abrupt with me and didnt tell me much, now im just looking at it as another chance to see my boy before I meet him 😊 x
First of all relax and take a deep breath :) Can I just say that measurements are usually off...and yes the position of the baby can have a huge impact on it :) I was measuring 2 weeks behind at one point and then the next appointment I was measuring 2 weeks ahead...I was recently sent for a growth scan because the fundal height was measuring over 2 weeks ahead...and my midwife thought that the baby was quite big. Anyway at the scan the baby was big but not overly big or anything xx
wjen they mesure ur uterus its just a "guess" the consultant dosnt even look at that plot mark (only ones by scan can be almost exact messuerments) @elouu1993 im sure ur baby will be fine x
@jordan1410, i hope so, my midwife usually rushes my appts so im just hoping shes not measured him properly and hes ok💙 xx
It's okay @elouu1993 it's hard not to panic when it comes to baby, I was the same but everything turned out okay and I'm sure yours will to, it's an easy mistake to make xx

I had a growth scan last week at 31 weeks, everything should be okay, my midwife said the same but it could be the way your baby was laid, my bubba was measuring small when I went to midwifes but at the growth scan she was just over average size so try not to panic, everything will be okay xx
