@amorasmom, yes! she will let out 2-3 good burps and then I keep her sitting for 20-30 min after

sounds like reflux too me… you should ask your doctor she may need medicine.

@b3autifulm3ss, we used to give her gripe water and that helped kinda :( but it made her choke so it scared us and we don't use it anymore

That would happen to Connor a lot, I asked his pediatrician and they recommended burping after every ounce!

we had to pump and slightly thicken with rice cereal!! my daughter spit up terrible and it was the only thing that helped us!

try feeding her a couple ounces then burp her then feed her the remaining ounces then burp her again my baby use to spit up too until i started burping her every couple ounces

It really is just a phase, she may be getting too much of the watery foremilk that comes when she is first eating, and not enough of the thicker hindmilk that comes when she's been eating for a while. That was what happened to Melody when she was close to that age. She felt hungry still because of it and would eat too much! Trying feeding her on one breast per feed for a little while, and see if that helps! Try and leave her on that same breast for a while during the feed so she "drains" it and reaches that thicker milk.

depends on how many times your feeding her. so every hour you should be feeding them 1-1.5 oz and so forth. it is easy to over feed with a bottle but not if you're nursing
