my daughters 1week old I'm breast feeding. and I pumped for first Tim today and only gt 1oz. total out of both boobs..is that normal...n how often should I pump..she eats every 3 1/2 - 4 hours....n how can I make supply come in more....n how to stop hurting with pump.
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖

calling all mommies who are breast feeding or excessively pumping .. how did you all do it ?? I know some people pump right in the hospital day 1 !! I know my hospitals here allows you to pump from day 1 and breast feed at the same time they just give you a breast consultant to explain and show you how so you don’t mess up and get a over supply to soon . Some people only breast feed for awhile than pump 1/2 later . Some only pump period ... what’s your method and how successful are you ?? And how tough was it in the beginning ??

It could be the size of the flanges , also start at a low setting for awhile . Eat & stay hydrated! Also try milk flow from upspring it helped me get my supply back after a mini vacation and only just being able to pump 3/4 times a Day. I get about 4-9oz each time I pump and BF between those pumps or even right after of before
