My boyfriends grandma babysits for us and although I greatly appreciate what she does for us there are some things she does that I really don't like with my kids. I need some advice on how to talk to her because my boyfriend doesn't want to do it!
Guys if I was looking at a place to rent on Craigslist and I go to click on the ad again and this pops up does that mean it's a scam?? I need to know because my boyfriend and I have been talking to the person !!
My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. Am I wrong if I said I don’t want my boyfriend mom at hospital when I give birth ???my reason is because she has never supported me being pregnant nor does she call and check on the baby she does nothing really !!!
I think this will be my LAST baby. My boyfriend is up there in age 🤷🏽 ♀

Just be honest with her. Tell her how you appreciate everything but you don't really like how she's doing something. In the end it's your children and she should except how you feel

I have tried a couple of times and she thinks what she does is best and doesn't listen to me...like changing how much formula I give my daughter she thinks she needs more and I have told her I don't want to give her more just yet because she spits up and gets a tummy ache yet she STILL does it! @hillenburgm

I know it's hard. If possible, try just sending enough for how ever long you are away. I put water in one bottle and her formula in another and they have mix it. Grandmas are absolutely wonderful women but sometimes they have to step back and let mom do what she needs to do. Tell your boyfriend to man up and stick up for you or he's going to get spit up on a lot, lol

Lol I know right? He just doesn't like when the women of his family are mad at him haha I think eventually he will get tired of it too! She takes away my daughters baby blanket when we aren't there (she told a friend of mine she does this) because she says she shouldn't be so dependent on it! What the heck?! She's 17 months old and she only uses it when she's upset or tired and she just carries it around I see no problem with it and I don't like that she waits till we aren't around actually I hate it! When my friend told me that I cried I feel like it's cruel 😞 @hillenburgm

It is cruel. She shouldn't take her blanket away. Too bad your daughter can't take something she likes away, lol. I'm sorry you have to go through this. Makes you wonder if the same thing happened to her when she had her children and she's still just mimicking what happened to her. Hopefully everything works out for you guys. I'd say threaten to take them someplace else, but don't want you guys stuck trying to find someone or go into debt trying to pay someone. Childcare is crazy expensive these days

Yeah that's the problem childcare is so expensive or else I would because I'm kind of tired of it like it should be what I say goes and she doesn't do it! She said her mother in law did the same stuff and I feel like she doesn't realize she's doing it and she's not my grandma so I'm not comfortable with telling her to knock it off! But I feel like even if I did she would just do it when I'm not there! So frustrating but thank you for listening it's nice to get it out!
