how do u know if ur leaking amniotic fluid ?

then no... you would have really known and gone into labor and delivery like I did. baby came within 12 hours

My doc had me go in and get it tested. They test with like little ph test strips and also with a swab. But from what I hear you tend to KNOW cause u can't control it but there are the rare occasions where u can have a small tear in the sac and it's a slow trickle. I felt so dumb when I went in and it wasn't amniotic fluid but better to be safe than sorry! Now I have a couple of the little ph strips and if they turn blue it's amniotic fluid.. Hope you are ok!!! 🙏🏼

@yure_ortega, my doctor said you know because you can't stop it from coming out. Like when you go pee you know how you can stop peeing, if you tighten the same muscles and you keep leveling then it's fluid not pee. If that makes sense lol

you will know I was in question weather I was as well. just change your underwear walk around or just stand for like 5-10 min and if they end up soaked through then you are.

so there's no way to tell with out going to the doctors?

I believe you have to go in an they have a strip thing that tests it to see if it is amniotic fluid or not.
