@anna432, the specialist I see does it up until 24weeks anything after that they won't do it they will just put you on bed rest and give you meds. But it's getting longer so hopefully she will stay in there for awhile.

I have never heard of that before

it's too late he said they do it around 12/13 weeks @xxsammi.love you should be fine they have meds that can stop the labor if you were to go into labor but once your past 24 weeks you'll be fine!!

@anna432, I am 20w4d and I been seeing a specialist for a "short cervix" it was 2cm which is short but my next visit it went up to 3cm so hopefully I don't end up needing the stitch.
