I tested positive as a carrier of Cystic Fibrosis ! Did anyone else ? I'm stressed as can be !

I plan to go get checked out myself to see if I am a carrier. My daughter's newborn screening came back abnormal for CF. I had to get further testing done which included a sweat test. Luckily, she does not have CF but she is a carrier. Which means me or her father are a carrier. As for her being a carrier the only concern she will have is when she decides to get pregnant. Her significant other will need to get tested to make sure he is not a carrier for CF. So don't stress. make sure your significant other is tested. Remember both parents must be a carrier for the child to have CF.
