I got pregnant when I had mirena too. Its more common then they tell you when you get it. I ended up having a miscarriage likely from a thin uterus(caused by mirena) but am now 30 weeks and getting a tubal after this baby.

I got pregnant on BC, condoms and spermicide

I am 18 weeks pregnant on an IUD also. It sucks when you trust something to protect you and it doesn't. :/

I looked into but they couldn't the mirena so they're assuming it came out itself somehow and since I didn't have to have it surgically removed there's no case. @gabbator95

bullshit. you got the mirena to protect against pregnancy and it failed. it shouldnt matter if it came out on its own and they are probably lying. they will lie to not have to pay anybody. @csp0355 and yes @amandafikes

I thought it was crap too but I spoke with several different lawyers who had filed against mirena in the past and they all told me the same thing. They also can't prove the miscarriage was caused by mirena either so they don't have to take responsibility. From what I was told you have to fall into a certain restrictions to get anything from them. @gabbator95

@gabbator95, seems like when somebody posts something there just rude. to the IUD kept giving me cysts and making me sick.

being single parent is hard.bf died last December. i feel like I'm on my own. this is my second kid. people think because they have a partner and there pregnant there going to stick by the woman. my first bf left me high and dry. and I learned to care for my 8 month old on my own. parenting is hard and takes work. not everyone is cut out to be a parent.

@gabbator95, my IUD is still in place. It's perfectly visible on the ultrasound. I might check into a lawyer. I'm so angry I have an unplanned pregnancy - and it's my fifth child. I was perfectly content with four kiddos. My baby is five. He was supposed to be the last. With that being said I am getting more and more excited about having another one. I just wish I would have planned it.

@zelda133, being a single parent is HARD! I left my husband of ten years and became a single mom to four men. It was soooooo hard. Sometimes you just need someone to count on and when you realize it's just you it brings you down. I'm so sorry to hear about your boyfriend. 😢 I can't imagine what you are going through.
