Already ovulating?!

So I'm doing my second IUI. I did 6 days of 150mg clomid CD3-8. I started taking Opk's every am & pm since Tuesday and this morning's, CD10, was positive(digital & strip test.) I called and I'm scheduled to go in tomorrow 8:30am for IUI now. I'm not very optimistic about this. I haven't even had a scan to see what's going on. They won't scan tomorrow because they don't want to use gel before IUI. Ugh...feels like another disappointment on this road full of obstacles.

So idk I may be discouraged right now. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about 4-5 months. We also had three months of clomid. Long Story Short: Aug. 8 2016, My Water Broke At About 8:45 In The Morning n Another Gush At 9:45pm. Made A Trip To ER To Test To See If It Was My Water, and positive It Was! Checked for Dilation And Was At A 2cm. Was Admitted And Put on Pitocin, There Hours Later Disappeared To A 5cm, Then 5 Hours From That At 10am I Was Fully Dilated! Clomid question

This may be a silly question but do they give you clomid even if you are ovulating regularly on your own and have regular cycles? I think clomid may be the next step for me after ttc#1 for 18months but not sure if it'll help me?
