is it weird that I'm not have a baby shower, but having a welcome home baby party. this is my 3rd baby and you normally have a baby shower your first baby or they say you do. but no one really showed up for mine. Thought I would change it up. Anyone else doing the same??

especially since they also have siblings with birthdays at the same time as well. trying to stretch money amongst the 3 older ones.
Since my 9 mth old son will be 1 when the baby gets here, we're having a combination 1st birthday party/welcome home party
I tried the baby shower thing with my second and it was horrible I rented out a place had a lot of people that said they would come maybe over 50 people and 6or 7 came. so I don't want to do that again
I'm not having one and this is my 3rd. I plan on just telling certain family members what I want that I know they will get.
Yeah this is my third as well. We're not having a baby shower either.
This is my 4th but first boy so we are having a shower. But a welcome home seems fun! Maybe even better. Because at least your in the comfort of your own home.
