Any mommies deny flu shot ? And why?

I did...just because I've read that it's not all that beneficial to the baby...natural is my thing though everyone is different

I chose not to get it. I haven't gotten a flu shot in 20 years and have only had the flu once. So I didn't think it was necessary to introduce the vaccine into my body

i did, bc I have asthma and it never fails that it makes me sick

I did because just didn't think it was safe and also i always get the flu when i do and not being able to take cold medicine while pregnant would drive me crazy ugh

I didnt get it, I'm a lot like @alusardi haven't had the flu in God knows how long and I haven't had any shots since I was 12 and ima about to be 30. I didn't see a need.

Yes. I did. Essentially, the flu shot is just injecting you with the flu so that your body learns to fight off the virus. It doesn't even protect from every type of flu, so to me it was unnecessary. Also, I have never had the flu anyways.

And I don't say that like I'm invincible and could never get the flu lol just that if I'm going to get it, I guess I would rather contract it naturally and fight against my symptoms vs being injected with God knows what. Lol

I never get them and it's cause the one time I did I got sicker than I did just getting the flu regularly

I did get it today! I was told by 2 nurses at my obgyn not to get it though lol They told me about their experience with getting it when they were pregnant. Apparently it made them very sick when their entire pregnancy they had never been sick, not once

I did turn it down, only because the only times I have gotten the flu shot I got the flu so I was just saving myself the trouble. But my doctors were all 100% okay with me not getting it.

Yes I did only because they didn't give me the live virus
