Dont ever worry about wasting the docs time. If you feel like something is wrong express your concerns and go get checked. Its better to be safe then sorry and dont let anyone make you feel like your being selfish because you care about your child, screw them. Continue to do what you think is best for you and your baby.

@lakilucid, I would've told that tech her assumption is way above her paygrade.. that's bs she isn't a Dr and can't diagnose shit. . we know our bodies and with losses in the past- it's scary do whatever you feel is best

thank you ladies. I feel silly going over cramping but I feel its better safe than sorry especially since I haven't even heard a heartbeat. only care I have received was having six vials of blood drawn when I found out at 8-10 weeks.

and I haven't even gotten the results back from the health department. they only tested for STDs as far as I know...

my own mother said she didn't think I should. the rest of my family, and here's the kicker, which are men urged me to go. mom never had a high risk pregnancy and didn't see a doc until late in her pregnancy with me so she thinks I'm over reacting. she's never lost a child. she also tends to not try to be emotionally involved with my pregnancies as I have lost so many. she thinks its a waste of worrying about her grandkids that might not make it.

You should have been put on the pregnancy medicaid plan while waiting for your medical and ignore the negative nellies. There's women in the ER who understand what it's like and understand your concern. Plus it's what they are there for. If they have a problem they shouldn't have picked that profession. Next time you go describe it as abdominal pain. And express your concern for your baby if they don't understand then they have no heart

cramping is a concern if you don't feel right about it go to the hospital. cramping is very serious. you need to make sure your baby is okay especially with your loses

there is in nags head. I live on Ocracoke island. so its an hour ferry ride then an hour and 45 mins to the hospital.

DSS refuses to give me presumptive medicaid while I wait because, " I'm already in the process of being approved and that could take 45 days and its up to your doctor to apply for you" to quote my social worker. the health department said," its up to your social worker to approve you for presumptive." its like a game to them.
