When did you start lactating? I'm 29 weeks and my boobs are showing no sign of getting ready to feed my baby... I might still be too early, but I'm scared I won't be able to breastfeed!

I started leaking at around 25 weeks, but don't be worried if you haven't yet. everyone's body is different.
For me it was about 3 1/2 months but i had to sqeeze my nipple to get anything out and ive never leaked yet
I'm almost 37 weeks and I don't leak anything. I have to squeeze my boob to get anything out and that didn't start till I was over 30 weeks.
Try squeezing the nipple. I don't leak but I can squeeze my nipples and colostrum comes out!
I started leaking colostrum when I was 3 months pregnant, every women is different, with my son I stated leaking colostrum when I was 21weeks, ur colostrum can get jump started by nipple simulation (accidental with both of my pregnancies) or being around a crying baby
I started producing and leaking colostrum with my son at 34 weeks and had him at 36+6 weeks. I just started producing colostrum with my current pregnancy at 34+5 weeks and I only leaked once. Every boobie is different but if you give it your all and don't give up, breast feeding can happen. I gave up with my son and I'm going to give it my all to breast feed my daughter. Have faith and patience
your nipples and boobs will get bigger, and nipples will get darker
they start when you're body is ready honestly. everybody is different. with my first I didn't start until he was born. my second I started at 25w he was born at 27. but you get colostrum first which is very nutritional for the babyand that's not very much. your milk comes in after that is gone which is usually up to three days after the baby is born
Your milk won't come in until after baby arrives. And it's totally normal not to leak at all. I never leaked with my first and we successfully breastfed for 15 months.
I did not leak with my first and my milk came in fine when she was born.
