Can braxton hicks feel like contractions?

Generally speaking they are contractions. Active labor just entails longer and stronger ones that come more frequently.

I had some last night it lasted and long time but it did go away

i wish i knew what it felt like ! i have no pain , cramping . just tummy hardens. i wish he would come now !

If they don't hurt then they are Braxton Hicks. If they hurt, they are labor contractions.

I get some painful ones too at least once a day I'm 31 weeks...

Kinda like period pains, but differently than contractions they are irregular

For me I knew I was having a real contraction when it started in my low back and wrapped around my belly. The Braxton Hicks contractions I got were more just in my belly and felt like period cramps. Sometimes I'd get 1-2 a day or none, very erratic
